ALISTAIR GIBSON – CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Tropical Sky Orthotics & Prosthetics is proud to be working with Board Certified (ABC) Orthotist & Prosthetist, Alistair Gibson, who serves as Clinical Director at our location in Orlando.

Gibson is a nationally renowned for his work with upper extremities—in fact, he has produced and delivered thousands of prosthetic arms. Less than two percent of prosthetists achieve this level of experience with upper extremities.

About Alistair Gibson, CPO, LPO

Alistair Gibson one of the most experienced prosthetists in the industry. He studied in Scotland at the University of Strathclyde, where he earned a BSc (Hons) in Prosthetics and Orthotics.  He is also certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC). Gibson has extensive experience in the field of O&P—in fact, nearly 30 years’ worth—and is a master orthotist and prosthetist.

Gibson decided to pursue orthotics and prosthetics after his experiences with a friend who used prosthetics in day-to-day life. Gibson was fascinated by the way a prosthesis could restore hope to an individual, and from that moment forward, his passion for O&P first began.
